Property In Spain - New House
- A new house can often be cheaper if you buy early or off-plan

- You can pay for the property in staged payments.
- Because you have time to pay for the property over the course of its build this makes it easier to budget
- One of the fall backs with new builds is that completion rarely on time. With some builders it may be possible to have the build completion date included in the contract.
- Beware that the finished building is exactly what you believe you have purchased.
Property in Spain - Old House:
- When buying a resale property you see exactly what you are buying
- There is no delay of months to move in
- You can see what is around your property already and you know who your neighbours will be
- Resale properties may need restoration work
- Or they could need painting & decorating
- There is an initial deposit then the balance is due on completion which can be as quick as 3-4 weeks so funds need to be in place.
